David Suzuki Foundation
- Since 1990, the
David Suzuki Foundation
has worked to find ways for society to live in balance with the
natural world that sustains us. Focusing on four program areas –
oceans and sustainable fishing, forests and wild lands, climate change
and clean energy, and the web of life - the Foundation uses science
and education to promote solutions that help conserve nature.

Great Bear Rainforest
- ForestEthics,
Greenpeace, Rainforest Action Network, and the Sierra Club of
Canada, BC Chapter are environmental groups partnering to find
conservation and economic alternatives to industrial logging in
British Columbia's Great Bear Rainforest and Haida Gwaii (the Queen Charlotte
Islands).

Greenpeace
is an independently funded organization that works to protect the
environment. They challenge government and industry to halt harmful
practices by negotiating solutions, conducting scientific research,
introducing clean alternatives, carrying out peaceful acts of civil
disobedience and educating and engaging the public.

Percy Schmeiser is a farmer from Bruno,
Saskatchewan Canada whose Canola fields were contaminated with
Monsanto's Round-Up Ready Canola. Monsanto's position is that it
doesn't matter whether Schmeiser knew or not that his canola field was
contaminated with the Roundup Ready gene and that he must pay their
Technology Fee.

Raincoast Conservation Society
- Founded in 1990,
Raincoast Conservation Society is a non-profit research and public
education organization. We work in partnership with scientists, First
Nations, local communities and Non-governmental Organizations to build
support for decisions that protect marine and rainforest habitat on
BC’s central and north coast.

Rainforest Action Network
- Since it was founded in 1985, the
Rainforest Action Network has been working to protect tropical
rainforests and the human rights of those living in and around those
forests.
