When asked what
makes our natural handmade soap better than a
commercially mass-produced bar of soap, we at
Rainforest Organics Natural Soap Co. respond,
"Because of the natural Glycerin!".
Glycerin is a humectant, meaning it attracts
moisture to the skin. It is a natural
by-product of the soap making process.
While most commercial manufacturers remove the
glycerin for use in their more profitable
lotions and creams, our natural handmade soaps
retain glycerin in each and every bar. The
result is an extremely moisturizing soap. |

Our Natural
Handmade Soap is actually "soap" in its most true form.
The majority of ‘soaps’
that you find on your supermarket shelves are not at all
what they seem. They are actually detergents.
What’s the difference?
The
EPA defines a Detergent as a “Synthetic washing agent
that helps to remove dirt and oil.”
Encyclopedia Britanica
defines soap: “Any
of a group of organic compounds that are salts of fatty
acids…The
source may be any vegetable oil or animal fat. Soaps are
emulsifying agents commonly used for cleaning; they have
long been made from lye and fat. Detergents are entirely
synthetic and may or may not be soaps.”

At Rainforest Organics Natural Soap Co., our bars are
handmade in small quantities to ensure the highest quality.
We use 100%
Natural ingredients, especially organic whenever possible.
Every bar of our Natural Handmade soap is vegetarian and/or
vegan. The only animal product that we ever use is
Beeswax or Goat's Milk. And no animals are harmed in
the production of either. Our goat's milk and beeswax
is both sourced from small Canadian Hobby Farms.
We offer a
wide variety of
unscented soap as well as
great selection of
aromatherapy soaps
that are naturally scented only with pure essential oils.

concrete) will never be used in our products.
