Description:
“Flower of flowers”, Ylang Ylang
essential oil is used in many
perfumes throughout the world due to its soft, sensual,
luxurious aroma. Add to the bath, a diffuser or sniff
directly from the bottle to soothe away panic, anxiety
or even insomnia. Add to a massage oil to relieve
tension or calm nerves. Ylang Ylang can also be added to
skin toner or a hair tonic to help to balance dry and
oily conditions. |
|
|
|
Blends:
Ylang Ylang blends well with Bergamot, Lavender and
Lemon. |
|
|
Cautions:
Always use Ylang Ylang essential oil in moderation,
as it can cause headaches and/or nausea if too much
used. Ylang Ylang may irritate those with
sensitive skin. Do not use topically undiluted.

How to use Ylang Ylang
III or any other Pure Essential
Oils:
- Never take
essential oils internally!
- Never use
essential oils as a substitute for necessary medical
care.
-
Never
apply essential oils neat (undiluted). A
general guideline is 1-2% dilution in a base carrier
oil.
-
Consult your
physician or a Certified Aromatherapist before using
essential oils, especially if you are pregnant, have
high or low blood pressure, suffer from cancer,
epilepsy, kidney or liver disease, or neural
disorders.
-
If you
are pregnant, avoid essential oils of Aniseed,
Basil, Bay, Camphor, Carrot, Cedarwood, Cinnamon
Leaf, Clary Sage, Clove, Cypress, Fennel,
Frankincense, Lavender, Lemongrass, Lime, Juniper,
Marjoram, Peppermint, Rosemary, and Vanilla.
-
Avoid
exposure to the sun when using Citrus Oils, such as
Bergamot, Lemon, Lime, Mandarin, and Orange Sweet.
-
Keep
essential oils out of reach of children and pets.
-
Always
use extreme caution, and consult a
physician or a
Certified Aromatherapist before using essential oils
on children. Never use essential oils on
children under the age of 6 months.
-
When
using a new pure essential oil, always do a patch
test to determine sensitivity. If irritation
occurs, discontinue use immediately.
- Never buy
essential oils that are sold in clear bottles.
Essential oils are very volatile and should always
be stored in dark colored glass bottles, in a cool
place.
